Cat Sunflower Elizabeths Cotton Neck Sterilization Feeding Anti Lick Bite Beauty Head Cover Dog Pet Collar Cat Anti-Licking Ring Soft Washable Adjustable Neck Size 10-32cm
Soft Cotton Pet Recovery Collar for Cats and Small Dogs – Adjustable Anti-Lick Design
This cotton pet collar offers a gentle yet effective solution to prevent your cat or small dog from licking or biting wounds, surgical incisions, or irritated skin. Unlike stiff plastic cones, this collar is made from soft, washable cotton that allows your pet to eat, drink, sleep, and play without obstruction. The adjustable band ensures a secure fit around neck sizes from 10 to 32 cm, and the collar can be used with your pet's everyday collar for added stability. Ideal for post-operative care, injury recovery, or during nail clipping and grooming sessions, this collar promotes healing by preventing self-trauma while keeping your pet comfortable.
Features and Construction
Designed with both pet comfort and owner convenience in mind, this collar combines practical protection with soft materials and an adjustable fit.
Material and Build
The collar is constructed entirely from cotton, a natural fibre that feels soft against the skin and allows air circulation. The exterior is gentle enough to avoid marking or scraping furniture, and the overall design is washable for repeated use.
Size and Practical Fit
Four sizes are available to suit neck circumferences from 10 cm up to 32 cm. XS fits necks 10-18 cm (pets under 2 kg), S fits 11-23 cm (under 2.5 kg), M fits 13-27 cm (under 5 kg), and L fits 15-32 cm (under 7.5 kg). A band at the opening allows you to adjust the collar to your pet's exact neck size, and the daily collar slot keeps the anti-lick ring in place.
Uses and Placement
This collar serves multiple purposes beyond recovery, making it a versatile addition to your pet care kit.
Post-Operative or Wound Care
The primary use is to prevent licking and biting after surgeries, sterilisation procedures, or injuries. By blocking access to affected areas, the collar supports healing and reduces the risk of infection or wound reopening.
Grooming and Treatment Support
The collar can also be used during nail clipping, applying topical treatments, or as a temporary barrier when pets are bothered by rashes or skin conditions. Its softness means pets can still rest their heads on it comfortably, and it doubles as a small pillow.
Benefits and Buying Value
This cotton collar offers a practical, low-maintenance alternative to rigid cones that many pets find stressful.
Reuse and Low Maintenance
The collar is washable, so it can be cleaned and reused across multiple recovery periods. The cotton material dries quickly and holds its shape well without becoming stiff.
Why Choose This Product
If your pet struggles with traditional plastic cones, this cotton version allows normal activities like eating and drinking. The adjustable fit and multiple size options ensure you can find the right match for your cat or small dog. The sunflower print adds a cheerful touch without compromising function.
