23 CRV Special LED Daytime Running Lamp Modified Front Fog Lamp in ABS Material with 12V Operation
This LED daytime running lamp has been developed specifically for the CRV model, offering a straightforward upgrade for your front fog lamp position. It uses bright LED technology to improve your car's visibility during daytime and low-light conditions, helping other drivers see you more clearly on the road. The lamp operates on your vehicle's standard 12V system and comes in two flowing light configurations, giving you a choice of visual effect. With its ABS plastic housing and LED light source, this lamp is built for direct installation without complex modifications.
Features and Construction
The lamp is constructed from materials suited to front-of-vehicle use, with a design focused on easy fitment and reliable operation. Below we examine the key aspects of its build and compatibility.
Material and Build
The housing is made from ABS plastic, a material chosen for its combination of strength and light weight. The light source is LED, which draws less power than halogen bulbs while providing consistent illumination. The lamp is sealed to a protection level rated as A, indicating a degree of resistance to dust and moisture suitable for the front fog lamp position.
Size and Practical Fit
This lamp is designed to replace the factory front fog lamp on the CRV model. Its dimensions match the standard fog lamp opening, allowing for a direct swap without cutting or drilling. The 12V electrical rating means it connects directly to your car's existing fog lamp wiring.
Uses and Placement
Installed in the front bumper fog lamp position, this LED lamp serves both daytime running and fog light functions. Its placement is ideal for maximising visibility from the front of the vehicle.
Event or Professional Use
For CRV owners who drive frequently in low-light conditions, this lamp provides added visibility that can be a practical safety benefit. The flowing light effect also gives a distinctive appearance, which some drivers prefer for modified vehicles attending events or shows.
Everyday Home Use
In daily driving, the lamp functions as a daytime running light that makes your CRV more noticeable to other road users. The LED light source is reliable for regular on-road use, and the flowing light effect can be set according to your preference from the available tri colour or two tone options.
Benefits and Buying Value
Choosing this lamp means you get a product designed to fit your CRV without complicated modifications. Its LED technology offers benefits in power consumption and longevity compared to traditional bulbs.
Reuse and Low Maintenance
LED lamps are known for their long operational life, reducing the need for frequent bulb changes. The sealed housing helps keep moisture out, which can prolong the lamp's service life in wet conditions.
Why Choose This Product
If you own a CRV and want to upgrade your front fog lamps with a daytime running function and a flowing light effect, this lamp is specifically made for your model. It comes in a pair and includes your choice of tri colour or two tone lighting, giving you flexibility in appearance without sacrificing fitment.
